Maxion Wheels Co. Ltd. is a company wholly owned by IOCHPE-MAXION GROUP, from Brazilian origin.

Our Group has acquired a very specialized know-how over the past 50 years in the development, manufacture and marketing of commercial vehicle wheels.

The high international quality standards attained by our company are recognized worldwide in all segments of markets - OEMs, tires manufacturers, trailers manufacturers and the after-market.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Mathematical process applied to product projects, before the virtual validation via FEM (Finite Elements), which defines the disc and rim profiles.  Prototype homologation via test machine BI-AXIAL, developed of this machine is EUWA 3.23 (EUWA - European Union Wheels Association).  R&D (Research & Development) performing in the area of product project, FEM, data acquisition, material and welding.

QUALITY

Quality system based on preventive actions by keeping a constant robust ISO standards production process.

Inspection of 100% of our products - automatic equipment with 35 simultaneous dimensional characteristics (from center bore measurement to run-out 2nd harmonics.

Controls based on the critical and key characteristics originated from FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), as well as from the assembling characteristics of the wheels following technical norms such as: ERTO, TRA, DIN, SAE, JIS and others.

Well equipped essay fatigue laboratory inside our plant, for rims and discs. Endurance auditing conducted by rim rolling and cornering fatigue machines, in accordance to international standards (SAEJ 267, EUWA, TUV).  Salt-spray  test performance more than 1,000 hours.  Packages technically dimensioned to assure the perfect integrity of the wheels and manufactured according to international environmental regulations.
